Wednesday Night Discipleship

Our semester is underway!

Naming Your Calling

Wednesday, April 8

Seabrook Hall

This spring, we studied the person of Moses and the theme of calling. Now, we are concluding the semester by asking “What’s next?” in order to connect Moses’ story with our story to properly see that story that God wants to tell through us.

To do that, we will be meeting for one final evening of the semester to clarify and name our personal calling into one simple sentence. And whether you participated this semester or took the Spring off, you’re invited and encouraged to attend!

Following dinner, we will meet together to do an activity called “Naming Your Calling” where we will look how three things come together: your story, your passions, and your abilities. All that attend on April 8th are encouraged to print and bring this resource with them!

In completing this guide, you are asked to complete one or more personality and productivity assessments.

For easy access, we have listed them all together below:

Upcoming Dinner Menus

On Wednesday nights, we gather together from 5-5:45 to share a meal prior to all of our ministries launching. We offer both a hot meal option and a salad bar for adults for $10. Children may receive free pizza at dinner with their parents or in their age-based ministries around the church. To steward our resources in the best possible way, we ask that you RSVP for dinner by 10:00 on Monday morning.

Intentional Discipleship for the Whole Family

On Wednesday nights at Christ Methodist, our church family grows together to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Each week, we gather for a meal together from 5:00-6:00 PM in Seabrook Hall, followed by breakout sessions for discipleship:

  • Children in the Nursery & Wednesday Night Kids (WNK)

  • Teenagers in the Refuge

  • Adults in our discipleship groups
