Global Missions

We are a church that goes to the nations- we believe that the gospel must go to nations, and we play an important role in that as followers of Jesus.

Christ Church has aims to be a catalyst to share God’s grace and truth to strengthen the church in reached areas and bring the gospel to unreached areas through our ministry partnerships, mission trips, and disaster relief efforts.

 

Ministry Partnerships

Christ Church's strategy to bring a holistic gospel to the nations includes strategic partnerships in five different regions: Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, and right here in Memphis.

 

  • International Leadership Institute

    The International Leadership Institute trains and mobilizes leaders of leaders to reach their nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their vision is to change history by accelerating the spread of the gospel through leaders of leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit. Christ Church supports their efforts in the Middle East, and in their global online training platform, Flight School.

    World Methodist Evangelism

    WME impacts the world with courage and integrity on behalf of Jesus Christ. They are a connection point for the worldwide Wesleyan family offering training, gathering opportunities, and resources that empower Christ followers to share their faith in the context of today’s realities. We encourage and challenge Christ followers to live more fully as committed disciples of the Jesus way, to share their faith with greater love and boldness, and to impact their world with greater courage and integrity on behalf of Jesus Christ.

  • Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia

    Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia's vision is to transform communities using community based health care models for medical and dental care through education and services, especially to women and children.

    Ebenezer Global

    Ebenezer Global exists to provide holistic care to refugees and the host community by striving to unify multiple tribes and denominations through Gospel–centered services, to empower refugees to excel in their God given gifts and talents, and become change agents for their communities.

  • China Harvest

    The mission of China Harvest is to extend the glory of God in and through China and North Korea by collaborating with partners to train indigenous leaders, spread Bibles, increase discipleship, and a support pastors.

    Cornerstone Ministries International

    Cornerstone Ministries International has been delivering Bibles into restricted nations since 1985, comforting the suffering Church, building disciples, and walking alongside them as they evangelize their nation. Learn More

  • Amigos De La Fe

    Amigos De La Fe is an organization of faith in Jesus Christ where we study the word of God, in order to fortify our life, family and society. Their vision is to project themselves as an organization committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ to achieve a spiritual growth that leads to the transformation of people.

    Cuba Methodist Seminary and House Church

    This ministry exists to fan the Flame of the Spirit of Christ burning within the Cuban Methodist Church and provide support, financial and relational, to the Cuban Methodist Church - specifically through the Methodist Seminary and Home Churches.

    Rice & Beans Ministry Costa Rica

    The goal at Rice and Beans is to go into all the world and make disciples of Christ. We study that Christ was always meeting people exactly where they were and then calling them out into a faith that grew them and transformed their lives. Modeled after His example, we strive with each action in hopes of meeting people where they are and help lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Meeting the needs of many people often begins with meeting their needs of hunger through the flesh, then meeting their spiritual hunger through the Word and Prayer.

    Yugo Ministries Mexico

    YUGO is a community of believers from all over the world who are passionate about inviting the church to come and join them as they build sustainable change in Mexico. Christ Church takes a yearly trip to Ensenada with Yugo to serve in construction and VBS roles.

  • Covenant Hope Dubai

    Covenant Hope Dubai desires to create disciple-making communities. They do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others.

  • Memphis Chinese Evangelical Church

    MCEC is an active, energetic and very welcoming community which meets on our campus. They would love to connect with members and welcome visits to their Friday Bible Study.

    Refugee Empowerment Program

    Refugee Empowerment Program exists to empower the refugee community by encouraging, educating, and equipping individual refugees, refugee families, and the refugee community. Through REP’s programming for youth and adults, refugees in Memphis have greater opportunities to become self-sufficient and independent in their new lives.

    World Relief Memphis

    In partnership with the local Church, World Relief envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually. The ministry does this by empowering refugees and other international families to show the example of Jesus in Memphis.
