Program Highlights
Home-like Spaces: Provides safe, comforting environments for children awaiting foster care placement, equipped with essentials like clothing, hygiene products, and meals.
Caseworker Support: Offers spaces and resources to reduce stress and improve case worker morale, recognizing their critical role in the child welfare system.
Kinship and Foster Family Assistance: Supplies items such as car seats, furniture, and meals to make it easier for families to say "yes" to placements.
Volunteer Engagement: Includes initiatives like the Bin Buddies program, where community members organize donations to meet the immediate needs of children entering care.
Community Impact
Established 29 homes across 11 states, providing loving care to children on what is often the hardest day of their lives.
Broke ground on the first Isaiah 117 House in Shelby County, with plans to open in early 2025.
Increased volunteer engagement and strengthened community support, with initiatives like the DCS Appreciation committee and the Bin Buddies program.
