Be the church that is for the city and goes to the nations.

The Missions Ministry at Christ Church Memphis exists to equip and mobilize the church to transform lives in the city of Memphis and world around us with the gospel. We accomplish this through serving with local and global ministry partnerships, training in personal evangelism, and equipping our congregation in cultural engagement.

The new school year is here, and we want to support the students and teachers at our partner schools in Binghampton, Cornerstone Prep: Lester and East High School. Check out all the ways that you can help impact the next generation through educational ministries in Memphis!

School Supply List

We will be collecting these supplies for students at Cornerstone Prep through the month of August. You have three options to give:

  1. Bring your supplies to church with you and donate them in the box outside the sanctuary

  2. Shop our Amazon wishlist and have the supplies sent to the school

  3. Give directly to our Blessing of the Backpacks Fund

Ways to Serve

There are also numerous ways to serve students, both within the church through family ministries and in the city of Memphis with our ministry partners. Fill out the survey below and someone from our team will be in contact!

Class sponsors serve a specific classroom(Pre-K-5th) all year. These volunteers communicate directly with the teacher to find out specific needs and help to fill those needs as they arise. This could range from praying for specific needs and sending encouragement, to helping celebrate birthdays, reading to the class and preparing supplies. Volunteers may adopt a class as an individual, class, or small group.

    We believe in Memphis and desire to see it flourish. Therefore, we seek restoration and transformation in our city through praying, giving, and serving with our ministry partners.

    Christ Church has prioritized our local ministry in the Binghampton neighborhood for nearly 40 years, launching and supporting numerous ministries that seek gospel-centered restoration.

    Christ Church has aims to be a catalyst to share God’s grace and truth to strengthen the church in reached areas and bring the gospel to unreached areas through our ministry partnerships, mission trips, and disaster relief efforts.
